‘Climate change is the single most important threat to our society and planet’, explains David Arraya, General Manager of Six Senses Ibiza, and the company is doing all it can to reduce its carbon footprint across all properties. For example, we hear about the one million plastic bottles saved a year in their quest to eliminate all single-use plastics by the end of 2022. And we see how renewable energy sources are being used to supply 10% of the property’s energy.

Sonoma County, California is working to achieve a 30% reduction in their vehicle fleet, promoting alternative forms of transport, and reducing the risk of fires and floods in a region where huge forest fires recently destroyed vineyards, homes and farmlands.
