Sustainable Farming Methods for Cambodian Communities

This video highlights Khorn Phalla, an Indigenous Bunong woman, who has switched from cash cropping to more sustainable agricultural practices like growing vegetables and raising chickens. Training and supplies to help her improve her family’s income and food security were provided by the Keo Seima carbon offset project. Sustainable agriculture training reduces locals’ need to clear large sections of forest to grow low-yield crops like cashews and rice that often do not provide enough income for families to make ends meet.

The Keo Seima project is one of the projects in our Climate Impact Portfolio that has been supported by our carbon offset program.
