[Video] The Chorng Indigenous Community of Areng Valley

The Chorng Indigenous people have lived in the Cardamom Mountains for decades and are considered essential to preserving these forest areas. Their cultural heritage was honored in a celebratory event that promoted the traditional identity of the Chorng people and their role in preserving the environment through sustainable tourism.

The Southern Cardamom project is one of the initiatives in our Climate Impact Portfolio, supported by our carbon offset program.
