Indigenous Bunong Women Weave a Brighter Future

The story of Chral Le, a Bunong woman who has learned how to weave Kramas, a traditional Khmer scarf, through training provided by the Keo Seima carbon offset project in Cambodia. Her village’s new weaving group has given her the skills to weave Kramas in her free time to sell to tourists and other residents. She has already sold two of her pieces to visitors and hopes that her weaving will earn her family more income as she learns how to incorporate more complex patterns.

The Keo Seima project is one of the projects in our Climate Impact Portfolio that has been supported by our carbon offset program.
