Here's How it Works
1. Calculate emissions from your hotel operations
We’ll conduct a carbon footprint assessment tailored to your hotel. This includes facilities, vehicles, and employee travel and commute. You’ll receive a report that includes your property’s total annual footprint as well as the average CO2 per room night. We’ll also provide offset pricing, making it easy to build costs into your rates.
2. Offset into our Climate Impact Portfolio
Choose to neutralize your entire footprint up front or offset on a rolling basis through a monthly subscription. Every quarter, we’ll distribute your dollars across a diverse portfolio of climate projects. We’ll also provide a certificate of your offset and a marketing toolkit to help communicate your impact to guests.
3. True up at the end of the year
At year’s end, we’ll revisit your hotel's footprint to compare projected vs. actual emissions. If your hotel generated more than expected, you’ll have the option to purchase additional offsets. We’ll also recalibrate your subscription for the upcoming year based on updated data.
