Sustainable Travel International Annual Membership Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to annual membership contributions made to Sustainable Travel International.

Automatic Annual Renewal

Sustainable Travel International Memberships are for a pre-paid 12-month membership term. Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each membership term for another 12-month term. You agree that we may automatically renew your membership at the same membership level and charge the card you provided on the one year anniversary of your last membership renewal date (the “Renewal Date”), unless you cancel your membership or change your membership level at least 10 days prior to the Renewal Date (see below for instructions on how to cancel or change your membership). Sustainable Travel International will automatically renew your membership each year on the Renewal Date until you cancel your membership or Sustainable Travel International no longer offers the membership program.

Notice Of Automatic Renewal

You will receive an email notice approximately 15-30 days prior to the Renewal Date. The notice will let you know that your current membership term is about to end and the Renewal Date when your membership will be renewed and your account charged. All notices regarding your membership will be sent to your last email of record. To cancel your membership without your account being charged for the next term or to change the membership level you would like to renew at, you must do so at least 10 days prior to the Renewal Date. Please keep a record of when your membership term ends and the next Renewal Date. You are responsible for timely canceling your membership regardless of whether you receive any notice from us.

Payment And Price

The renewal payment is due on the Renewal Date and will automatically be charged to the same credit card that you used for the original membership payment or the most recent renewal. Please notify Sustainable Travel International at neotaw@sustainabletravel.org before the Renewal Date of any changes to your email, account or billing information. The renewal price will be the same price as for the prior 12-month membership term unless Sustainable Travel International gives you advance notice of a price change or unless you request to change your membership level. You will also receive a notice if there are any changes to the membership program terms.

Membership Contributions Made through The Ocean Foundation

Please note that any annual membership contributions (first payment and renewal payments) that are made through The Ocean Foundation webform, will be processed by The Ocean Foundation, our 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor.  As such, all receipts and communications regarding your contribution will come from The Ocean Foundation. Membership Benefits

You will receive access to your membership benefits for 12 months following your renewal date and successful payment. The benefits that you receive will correspond with the membership level / amount paid for your most recent renewal. A list of the current membership levels and benefits is available here. Sustainable Travel International reserves the right to add, remove, and/or change these membership benefits without notice. 

How To Cancel Automatic Renewal

If you would like to update your payment information or cancel your membership at any point, you may do so by creating an account (or logging into your existing account) here or by contacting Sustainable Travel International at neotaw@sustainabletravel.org at least 10 days prior to the Renewal Date.
