He also conducts research on global carbon offset projects, assists in vetting and verifying offset projects, and manages data and reporting on carbon offset initiatives.
Throughout his career, Daniel has gained experience in engineering consultancy, research, marketing, data analysis, mathematical modeling, business intelligence, carbon accounting, and carbon credits project assessment. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. His expertise encompasses data-driven decision-making, emissions accounting, and sustainability initiatives, with a strong foundation in carbon footprint calculations, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability reporting frameworks.
His work contributes to reducing tourism’s carbon footprint, addressing carbon liability, advancing the global net-zero transition, and strengthening the industry’s climate adaptation and resilience.
