Andrew Pozniak is a senior director with Green Aviation and possesses more than 20 years of extensive program and operations management experience in the aviation industry including sustainability and emissions compliance. He previously worked for British Airways and subsequently IATA where he was responsible for the oversight of their aviation industry initiatives and special projects with a total budget of $55 million per annum. With Green Aviation he managed the implementation of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme for several leading airlines and corporate jet operators and advises companies on sustainability strategies and projects including planning for sustainable biofuels.
Andrew is a working group member with the “Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels”, a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a member of the Royal Geographical Society. He presents and moderates at leading aviation conferences and is a co-organizer of the successful “Aviation Carbon” series of conferences.
Andrew is based in Europe and works with clients globally.
